Here Now | Ron Shapiro

Poetry | | Spring 2024

Surf sounds
Water sparkling
Cloudless sky
Sun blazing
Almost noon
Dawn feels
Long gone
Light illuminates
What was dark
Nothing hides
Even in shade
Breeze cools
Air breath
Buddha still
Kneels prays
Hands joined
Like water sky
Earth water
Sky earth
Flowers glow
Eye candy
Even blind
See at sea
Hazy horizon
Clarity mind
Heart open
Here now
